Jeeez, it's been awhile....

I've looking at all the HNT that are listed on Obassos' site. http://osbasso.blogspot.com/2005/05/guidelines-for-half-nekkid-thursday.html
It's pretty interesting. I don't know if I would/could/should do that. I mean who wants to see body parts of an aging sort-of hippie? Not me! So I'll just look and ponder. '

Due to the ongoing energy crisis (?!) We are going to 4 day weeks here at work. I did that once and found that my off day (friday) was spent running around and doing all the stuff I used to do at lunch and right after work. Well my staff are very excited about it so I guess I'll suffer through it. In my case it means I can get some of the HUGE listof stuff that alweays needs to done aroung the house/kennel/farm. It presents a challenge to me in several ways. First, my dear wife who I love dearly, POUNDS THE SHIT OUT ME ABOUT WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. I know it needs doing dear but can we just leave it alone once in a while. She can't see, and I have a hard time conveying to her, that the constant barrge of this needs doing, that needs doing, is depressing. It makes me feel like we'll never get ahead of the game and, well I'm sure you can understand. So, my job/challenge is to try to get her to not nag me to death about this stuff but just to tell me, ONCE, and put it on a list and I'll get around to it.

I once said that a succesfull marriage is work. It is. Ever changing, ever adapting, always in motion. People are not static, everyone changes, in little ways and in big ways. By default the relationship is the same, you need to adapt to your partners changes and change (modify) accordingly. Ima tryin', Ima tryin'.

I'm sure it will work out. We are too compatible for it not to.

Anyway, here's to the three day weekends coming up!! Yahooooooo!!!
